Problem

A blurred logo or an accidentally familiar face can create both a design defect and a publication question requiring additional evidence.

Outcome

You can separate visual inspection from rights review and remove or replace elements that lack a reliable basis for publication.

Preparation

  • Gather logo files with documented ownership or permission and the exact source copy.
  • Separate adult likeness consent from the allowed use of a fictional avatar.
  • Check the channel's platform policy for celebrity likeness and deepfake content.
  • Connect trademark and logo scope to the required source attribution record.

Decisions

Logo replacement
Decide whether a required mark should be inserted later from an approved source file.
Small-copy removal
Do not retain unreadable strings or text whose source cannot be explained.
Likeness review
When a face evokes a particular person, check whether the intended context is permitted before release.
Advertising copy
Remove unsupported advertising claims and compare small-copy spelling with approved source text.

Warnings

Similar marks
Enlarge generated symbols and compare them with recognizable real-world brands.
Changed meaning
A single altered character can change a price, ingredient, or feature statement.
Assumed rights
Possessing a file or generating an image does not by itself establish publication permission.
Legal review boundary
This guide is not legal advice. Automated safety checks do not guarantee lawful publication.

Pre-publish checklist

  • Ownership or permission evidence is recorded for every asset.
  • Adult likeness consent and fictional avatar scope are distinguished.
  • Celebrity deepfake restrictions and platform policy were checked.
  • Each trademark and logo was compared with its approved source.
  • Small-copy spelling and unsupported advertising claims were reviewed.
  • Source attribution and review notes are linked to the working file.
  • The record states that automated safety checks do not guarantee lawful publication.
  • Uncertain rights questions are referred to the relevant owner or qualified adviser.

AI disclosure

AI-generated output can contain errors in logos, lettering, or likeness, and usage rights must be checked using separate evidence.
